We developed a wireless remote control for all kinds of light signs. With the remote control at your desk and the switch at the light sign you can connect up to 8 light signs around a building. With a range up to 200 meters outdoors and 100 meters indoors the sign controller is very flexible to use.
Wireless remote controle
Switching light signs demands service. Solutions like power-time-switches are programmable for just one day. After a few years the light sign production company is out of sight, if there is no service contract.
Smart switching
The Sign Controller is programmable up to a whole week, to switch 4 times a day including smart switching at sunrise and sunset. Additionally, you can adjust the light intensity. The sign will always attract attention and it saves lifetime- and energy consumption.
Information
The Sign Controller informs about inside and outside temperature, time, date and hours of usage of the light sign. It also demands response at New-Year's-Day by a beep until 'enter' is pressed.
Stay in touch
Our own production company Glaifa uses low-voltage neon and LED signs. Therefore there is no need for a service contract. To stay in touch with the client the Sign Controller continuously displays your company's web-address.
Service
To keep the sign at its best the Sign Controller demands a response from the user twice. You are able to choose two points of time, for example after 10.000 and 20.000 function hours, for a service notification of the sign. Together with the New-Year's-greeting, the Sign Controller is the perfect solution to stay in touch with your client.
Parts
The Sign Controller consists of two parts: a switch and a remote control. One remote control can control up to 8 signs. Every sign has its own switch. Therefore the remote control can switch all signs independently from each other.
Remote Control
The remote control works on 230V. The remote control and the switch are connected wirelessly at the factory. However, you can also choose to connect both parts yourself. The remote control is standard white with red dots for the buttons. There is still enough space left to put a company sticker on. At your request we will produce the remote control with a screen-print company logo by orders from 10 pieces and upwards.
Switch
The switch consists of a waterproof electric unit and an antenna. The switch unit can handle light signs from 230V up to 5,5 Amp. The antenna is 50cm long and flexible with an 'umbrella' for improved reception of the remote control's signal. Inside the tip of the antenna is a temperature- and light-intensity sensor for automatic sunrise- and sunset switching. The switch can be attached to the back of the sign or inside the sign depending on the sign and placement.
The range between the switch and the remote control is 200 meters outdoors and 100 meters indoors. The signal is limited by buildings, walls, steel, etc. like other wireless connections.
